VLadimir faces a lot of challenges that prevents him from finishing community college One of the challenges are that he doesn't have enough money to bring to get to school in the morning sometimes and also that math is so hard for him that he mostly thinks about it sometimes & not focusing on his other classes him what he wants to do when you graduate college such as being an artist. I think Vladimir should take of all of the classes that he knows Is easy for him. Because he doesn't want to have a lot of classes on his back where he can't accomplish getting credits for certain classes because ,other classes are harder and be more Focused on those he should do half of his classes he's taking this semester and finish the rest next semester so it won't be too much on his back. . So if he doesn't have a job now he probably could get a job perhaps a weekend job so doesn't interfere with his schoolwork nor ability of getting to school. That way he probably have enough money to get to school and back and then pocket money and eat
ReplyDeleteHe seems to be a great student and his passion is art so they should not make him take math because it is holding him back from what he really wants and it isn't fair.

ReplyDeleteAfter watching the video about Vladimir, I personally felt bad for him. He has a daughter who needs to have support and by getting his college degree it can help benefit him in many ways in the future and help him be successful as well as provide everything his daughter needs instead of struggling like most men out here who are in college with kids already. Challenges Vladimir faces are not having a support system for him to rely on, he only has himself and failing remedial math for the 3rd time. The steps he should take in order to be successful in math are study more, push himself to do better, think positive, review his notes, and take practice quizzes or test.
ReplyDeleteVladimir's artistic genius is being hindered by his struggle with mathematics. this could be fixed by just asking for extra help with this subject.
ReplyDeleteI had pity for Vladimir after watching this video because he has to provide for his daughter and him self but he doesn't always have the funds to take care of his daughter and go to collage at the same time.Vladimir is a great and talented artist, Hes really passionate about art. The challenges that Vladimir faced where financial struggles and lack of comprehension in math. Steps that he should take in order for him to finish school is studying in math since that's his weakest subject and never giving up, especially if its going towards something hes deeply passionate about.
ReplyDeleteVladimir struggles because he has to take care of himself Nd his daughter. He actually took care of his daughter full time and when she went back to school he went back as well. I think he shouldn't take as many classes so he can get his credits and take steps in to accomplishing what he needs to. If he has weak subjects I think he should study hard so he can complete college and do what he does best.

But there are other classes you have to take besides art and one of his classes math and he's failed it three times. Vladimir could possibly find someone to watch his daughter sometimes so he can find extra help in the class is he struggling in.

In the future you can't survive without math. It's will exstremely help him and his daughter also when he needs help with money. He needs to study hard to finish community college.
ReplyDeleteSome challenges that Vladimir is facing is not having enough money to provide for him and his daughter, not enough money for him to get back and fourth to school everyday and not being good in math. He took the same math class 3 times and failed every last one of them. From the video he seems like a good father. He took care of his daughter until she was able to go to school, then that's when he went back. Two steps that Vladimir should take is one get a job to get a little extra money in his pockets and two get a tutor to help him with his math problem he has.

DeleteHe seems as if he's a good student and a nice person but he also faces challenges such as money problems to provide for him and his daughter he also struggled at math to overcome these problems he should make math his first subject so he can survive and make money in the future.
ReplyDeleteSome things that prevented Vladimir from completing community college were he was taking care of his daughter full time, not passing his math class, and sometimes he didn't even have enough money to get to school. In order to finish college Vladimir should try harder in math class and study his notes so in the future he will have a great future for his daughter already set.

He also faced the challenge of taking care of his daughter and he didn't even have enough money to get to the school and back home everyday. The steps I think Vladimir should take in order to finish school is to stay focus on studying his math work & stay focus on thinking positive everyday and just do it for himself and most importantly his daughter.

ReplyDeletei actually feel bad for Vladmir because he's really a talented and blessed child but he also struggles with a few things which are being weak in math and having a daughter . Steps i think he should take is getting help in math and saving money to put his daughter in a program till he finishes school on a regular basis but start saving period so he can get himself back and forth to school
ReplyDeleteVladimir struggled due to his math class and it prevented his completion of community college, in order to better himself he should take all the time he possibly can to improve so that he can benefit himself and his daughter in the long run.

ReplyDeleteVladimir just went threw some real challenges that life throws at us every single day. It tested his love for art. But he can't focus on only his art because we always have other things to watch out for. Vladimir & I have something in common. We both love art & we're really bad at math. but that shouldn't mean we should let them bring us down, these are life test that testes us & how strong & ready we are.
ReplyDeleteVladimir faces many challenges in his life time as stated in the clip he has a daughter which he takes care of and bills weight him down not only bills but has no money or barley has money to pay for college he suffers academically with math the most. This clip don't only shows us from Vladimir view of life but so many others out there that are not offered the same advantages and should open many eyes especially to those who take things for granted. He should keep om going bc hes made it this far so what's the point of stopping he should focus on what he needs to improve on and get help and he shouldn't give up on his dream bc of his circumstances.

ReplyDeleteI feel that Vladimir is moving to fast for hisself . I think he should slow down and take it easy. He faces difficulties with money to get to school , the math and having a child. I think Vladimir should put a pause on school snd work more. His daughter should come first he should make sure she is set . Then he should Save up . So once he start school again there's no worries. I also think Vladimir should take math no matter how difficult it is for him because education id important in life . He is a talented young man who is great with art as it is shown in the video once he get a some education he can be focused on art last his talent won't die .
ReplyDeleteThe challenges that Vladimir faces that prevents him from finishing college is refusing to take remedial math class because he wants to do better at what hes good at, at art. He is also a full time father, it is stressful for him because when his daughter went back to school he went back as well. Also, he has to be responsible, paying bills, and face whats next in the future. I think that Vladimir should take remedial math classes because he needs to earn his credits he has 27 out of 60 credits. If he wants to be successful in life he has to go through the pain and stress for whats better for him and his daughter.

Challenge is that he goes to community colleges and in colleges he is a poor math student. He keeps failing the same math class. I think the choice he is making to wait until his daughter starts going to school to finish his classes is a good decision, but while he is waiting for that he should get a job so he can have some money he should also get a tutor for math so that when he go's back the class won't be so difficult
ReplyDeleteSome of the challenges Vladimir faced that held him back from finishing college was that he had to take care of his daughter and he came from a low income family. He had to take his daughter to school everyday before he can get to his school which is more than a hour away. He started to get to classes late. Also he failed math and its needed to graduate. He was also distracted when he learned that his two childhood freinds where shot for drug related crimes. He also didnt make it to class sometimes because of the flare-ups from the ulcers that affected him for years. He would be hospitalized. To help Vladimir finish school, maybe he can ask someone to take his daughter to school for him and when he's busy doing work, they can also watch over her for him. He could also study and get some help for math. Someone can tutor him or a friend can study with him.

I think it would be a good idea for Vladimir to work on his other classes and save finish his math for last this way he would only have to worry about working on the math.

Vladimir loves art but struggles in math which is preventing him from finishing college. Vladimir can find a good friend that is willing to watch his daughter and get extra help with math.

Vladimir seems like a very intelligent student that is trying to get through college and support himself and his family. The difficulties he is facing is that he is very good at art but the subject he keeps receiving is math which he failed and is taking for the 3rd time now. He can avoid failure by going through previous work and see what he isn't picking up and practice to succeed and pass math.

Vladimir doesn't have the same opportunities that most of the kids at his school and those around him so it's very hard on him. Vladimir can fix these problems to finish off school by taking extra classes for and have someone to watch his daughter while he's in school.

An he was being treated different from the other kids. He also has a daughter but I way he can accomplish and finish school he can get Extra help.or can make a decision of taking more classes.

After watching this video I feel bad for him because he can't really provide for his child. And his child Is his priority. And his challenges are math. And because of that he struggling to finish school. In my opinion if thats the case of him struggling in that subject he needs to get extra help.

ReplyDeleteVladimir is a Art Major at LaGuardia Community College. Some challenges he faces deals with finance...he sometimes does not have enough money to get himself to school. In addition, he is a father of one who wants to support and care for his child. Also, math is not his strongest subject. He has 26 of 60 required credits to get into Hunter. In order to succeed, I feel as if he should possibly minor in art so that he's not completely giving up his love, but he will get more time to focus on academics and get his credits up.

ReplyDeleteIn life, we all face difficult challenges. Vladmir, however faced one of the biggest challenges in his life, having a baby and raising a child alone. It's hard being in that situation also because he has a hard time understanding the math curriculum. As a father, your child always comes first and that's exactly what he did. He needed to care and support his child. I believe that what he should do is use his talent of being an artist and sell his art work to people. That way, once he does that he can become known and it's another way of making money to support not only his child, but himself.

ReplyDeleteVladimir faces the challenges of not having enough money and not being focused or more engaged in passing his other classes. These are some issues that prevent him from finishing community college. I believe some steps Vladimir should take in order to finish school are 1. Gain equal focus on all of his classes and 2. Sign up for a one on one secession with a tutor weekly to help him study and pass all of his classes especially Math because that is his hardest subject to pass.
